So, I was talking to another friend of mine and we realised that guys do not and will never understand girls. However, we figured that girls should, and do understand girls, like how a bitch(female dog) will understand a bitch (yes, female dog).

If I point out to a girl that Girl A is ugly and Girl B agrees, then i would presume that I'm right.
Why?
Cause people say guys do not understand girls. so i would naturally presume that they are saying that girls understand girls.

Also, we were talking about how some people like to play God. We being human beings, being God's own creation DO NOT and WILL NEVER know what God intentions are.
However, my friend told me that some people like to go around telling ppl, 'God intended this, God intended that.' As if they were the chief editor of the bible . Then after saying that, they go around spewing the word 'fuck' as if its some punctuation. I wonder if they just going around saying 'fuck' or they go around 'fucking' too. hmmmm. Lets be still and silently contemplate.

Another thing we found interesting is that, certain people like to defend themselves when they feel that they're wronged. Nothing wrong with that, but after defending themselves, they then try to change their actions. hmmm interesting.
Flaw of human beings i guess. They wanna 'save face'.
Like, "EH I NEVER SCOLD BAD WORD LA!" even if he did. Then try to control himself from using vulgarities again. very weird. oh well *Shrugs.

Some people are born smart and some are not.

Ok so, just recently, I was talking to a good friend of mine and we arrived at a certain topic.

We both talked and talked and we came to a point where we concluded that those "oh! you're my best friend!" kinda girls(or boys, but mostly girls cause boys arent that cheesy) are all but BULLCRAP.
We were thinking if such people were 'real' and if they were really sincere. The answer is a BIG FAT NO.

Ok, I shall bring up an example which can be commonly found in their blogs or tagboards or whatever.
"ahhhhhhh BESTIE! I MISS YOU!! when can we go out together? Are you free on Friday? Saturday? Sunday?". That, you can sometimes find.

Now, lets question ourselves, if you REALLY miss someone and want to meet him/her, you would most probably wanna see him/her asap. right? right.
SO, would you...
1) pick up a phone to call or at the least send an sms?
or
2) ask that freakin person over a freakin tagboard and maybe wait for 2? 3 days? hell, maybe even a week, for that particular person to go online and reply your tag. Then you reply his/her tag and the cycle goes on. By the time both meet, it might already be a month.

Like, WHAT THE HECK. how stupid can these kinda girls (ok, people) get.
"hmm i miss my good friend, what can i do? I KNOW! I SHALL TAG HER ON HER TAGBOARD! i also wanna know how she's doing, cause she's my good friend and i'm concerned. hmm what can i do? OH OF COURSE, i can tag her on her tagboard and ask! DOH."

shows how sincere they really are huh? sometimes, i really wonder if all these 'bestfriends/besties/goodest of friends/sworn sisters' or what have you, are all but an act.

quit it already. seriously.

I seriously find it very very stupid to show your concern, or show that you miss someone over a tagboard when you have a better option like, calling him/her?
Its as irrelevant as saying, 'I will kill you to death!', or 'I will give you a headshot to the head.' OR 'Wa, my stomach got stomachache!'
Not only is it irrelevant, it is stupid too. Its as stupid as asking " EH! This thursday Good Friday ah?!" (btw, this rlly happened.)

Ah, woke up late again today. Wasn't entirely my fault, Ethel promised to call and she didn'tttt.

Was at the Esplanade today(Monday, 12th March) with Ethel, Eve, Amadea and Kenneth. They were either really hungry or have huge appetites =p. Haha. Sat down by the outdoor theatre (or whatever you call it) and listened to a couple of bands. Mosaic Music Festival's going on you see.
Saw this face on the brochure and thought he was familiar. My sister's classmate! haha friggin cool.

Oh, I didn't know mosaic was pronounced as mosaic and i always say it as mosaic instead of mosaic.

Ok, on another note, due to the fact that i'm almost always home, i'm constantly seeing Jamie Oliver and that 'Surreal Gourmet' guy with the curly hair on TV
Oh my, they cook so well. Every dish looks so friggin appetizing and it makes me hungry, ALWAYS.

Sooooo, I think I should learnt how to cook. HAHAHA.
Then, I'll be able to feed myself. :D No, not anyone else =p
I think Chefs are desirable, no? HA. I'm not gay, but i think that girls would like a guy who can whip up dishes with fancy italian, french or japanese names. lol. But then again, the names might only be fancy because its in a foreign language. Its might be like how a Japanese or Italian etc, might think that 'Hainanese Chicken Rice' is as fancy a name as 'Riso del pollo' is to me.

No longer cool to go, "Im so hopeless in the kitchen“ anymore (if it was cool before lah).
Its just as uncool as lamenting that “oh i suck at mandarin” (or whatever your mother tongue may be) especially if you are born chinese.

But for now, the only dish i can whip up is a bowl of Maggi Mee which sometimes might even taste too diluted. :S

I was thinking of some stuff and i realised that some some people fall in love(if they can call that love) not because they are in love but because they love being in love.

They like, have a boyfriend all the time since puberty kicked in, and when they break up, they're not in love (so-called) anymore, thus, creating this void. They have a NEED to fill up this void, so they grab whatever guy they can get. E.g. average-looking guys that flirt with them, cool guys whom they start to flirt with, or good-looking guys whom they flirt with too.

The targeted guys would most probably think that they're probably an easy fuck(pardon me, but i need the effect this word gives) so they'll naturally flirt back and try getting under their pants/skirts.
She'll think that the targeted guy likes her and then they'll get together.
and the cycle continues.
If you havent realise, such people fall in love(if they even do) only after getting into a relationship.
P.A.T.H.E.T.I.C and yes, they love falling in love.

I seriously doubt if such people have ever really been in love. ah, not that i have anything to do with them. hahahah. Oh well, thats the world innit.

GST increasing from 5% to 7%.

and like what singaporeans always do. they complain.

but then again, dont we have the right to? i mean, this GST increase is totally mind-boggling and i dont understand it one bit. i'm baffled.

Lets say the rationale behind this increase is that because the rich spend more, they get taxed more.
So say Person A has a monthly income of $2000 spends on basic food and clothing, a 2 percent GST increase will amount to approximately an additional of 40 dollars in GST tax.
Person B has a monthly income of $50,000. assuming he spends on luxurious items and all, a 2 percent GST increase will amount to approximately an additional of 1000 dollars in GST tax.

Person A will have 1.8K to pay for his ultility bills, handphone bills, transport, and that will most probably take away at least a quarter or even half of that 1.8K. Which leaves him with almost nth.
Person B, after the GST increase will still have a whopping 35+K to pay his bills and maybe get involved in some extra-maritial affairs(HA). and that is assuming he spends on luxurious items.

even after the rebates, Person B although losing more money, will ultimately still have alot of money to spend. ALSO, with the corresponding reduction in coporate and income tax, guess who benefits more? the targeted lower income group or the people from the higher income group. go figure.. =s

notice those who are 'complaining' are mostly people from the average income grp. that says alot about the problem already doesnt it.

But then again, this reflects on how Singaporeans are overly dependent on the Govt to provide for them. President Nathan said that we should not make the mistake of becoming a welfare state(or something like that). If this goes on, singapore might just turn into one.

so, lets see the exact full implementation of this GST increase and then come to a conclusion.

i'm starting to think if the sports analysts are getting easy money.
They're getting so predictable and some even write rubbish.

This guy obviously knows nuts and is just trying to show off his lack of knowledge by just 'going with the flow'.

Finally, we have escaped from its grasp.
For 2 long years, it has been holding on to us tightly, never once, loosening its grip . I tried to get help, but soon found out that it had my friends too. It was too powerful. Its power was so strong that its 'disease' was spreading like wildfire. It was scheming, too scheming.
It appeared innoxious. But little did we know, behind that harmless appearence was this loathsome, revolting and detestable creature.
Us, being the 'study idiots', were unable to control it. It became so audacious that it had the guts to carry out its attack even when we were all prepared.
The creature attacked us with weapons that we've never seen or experienced before. We were all caught flat-footed. The Generals couldnt help as they were not allowed on the battlefield. Us soldiers were left alone to do battle with this beast.
Its first weapon stunned us. All soldiers were unable to think, unable to move. However, we soon got together and started attacking it from 3 areas. Target area (a), (b) and (c).
after an hour and a half, we brought it down.
Victory was ours!
The soldiers left the battleground battered and bruised, knowing that the ordeal was over.
The creature is gone!
HURRAH!

Research then showed that this loathsome creature had a name. It was called........ 'The English Teacher'! (dramatic music starts playing). Researchers found out that it was a new species which they believe, started appearing only about a few years ago. It used to be called 'The King of The Castle', till a gene mutated and transformed it into something so innocent looking, yet so powerful.

Nah not even close to breaking that record. lol

Looking back, i now realise why Vincent was and still is, against us (volleyballers) getting into a r/s. It really affects your playing. I was one such perfect example. Screwed my playing pretty badly then. Got back to serious training. OOLALA, Singapore Schs again. Yea, pretty sweet considering the fact that i didnt even make it onto the bench for the whole season of 2006. haha. well, you gain some and you lose some. :S.
but i need to lose the fats and train up some muscles so that i can jump higher and enjoy volleyball to its fullest. ha.

I was so sure that i wasnt going to continue playing volleyball after leaving, but im not so sure now. argh.

sigh... maybe i should start supporting Man United , Chelsea, Arsenal or any other club thats not Liverpool. because i seem to be 'jinx-ing' L'pool.

i've always trusted Rafa Benitez about his rotation policy. but then it struck me. why are the players who left liverpool performing so well at their respective clubs now.
lets take for example Morientes. He found the net say 9-10 times for liverpool. but once he left for Valencia, he's been plonking in the goals like nobody's business.
not suited to the fast pace and robust approach of the EPL you say?
Note that Morientes is scoring goals for fun in the Spanish League and the Champions League. both leagues with top opponents.

but as much as i like Rafa, i hope that he'll WAKE UP HIS IDEA and get Liverpool (The greatest club in the world) back to winning ways.

Went to study with Ethel and Elliot at United Square. it was really good. haha 4-5 hours straight. Ethel was there like since 10? so she studied for 8-9 hours without any breaks (excluding toilet breaks). WOOTS. madass. haha

there was this really funny kid at Macdonalds. ha! he was full of crap!
his friend wanted the sweet chilli sauce, but i think he asked wrongly and got the garlic chilli instead. so.........

great day today. haha. went to timah with canaan and marucs. had a short game of DOTA and thn went to Ameen for some prata-dations. haha. talked and crapped as usual. lol.

elliot came to look for us after that and marcus went home. decided to go to town because i wanted to get a top from topman and cnaan wanted to cut his hair.
while cutting, sam came to look for us. haha and i went to get my top after that.

and the fun begins. haha we bought 4 hugeee cans of Barons, and some old chang kee. found a spot beside ngee ann city and sat down. drank, ate and crapped. nice feeling =). we thn played '7-up' and we were basically laughing at everything. haha. super high, but not drunk. after that? we went looking for a toilet. haha the walk was super crazy. laughing our asses off at everything, and canaan didnt help because of his foolish-ness. haha

haven't had such fun in ages and i bet i'll not have anything near this due to the examinations. i cant wait for it to end. haha

and i didnt know shopping can be that fun. haha. now i truly understand why girls go shopping so often. elliot me and canaan were trying out clothes frm topman like nobody's business. haha

had training with the 'singapore schs' team this morn at CCAB. libero? defensive player? haha sense of dejavu.

back in 2003, i got into the singapore schs junior team whn the coach was Mr. Thomas.
the pair of shoes i was using was the Mizuno Wave Elite with black laces.
I tried out as a sub-setter.
i got in the team, and was asked to play as a libero.

now in 2006. i got into the singapore schs senior team. the coach is Mr. Thomas and Ms. Teo. the pair of shoes i'm wearing now is the Mizuno Wave Elite with black laces.
i tried out as a sub-setter.
i got in the team. and now, Mr. Thomas is training me to be a defensive player, or receiving specialist or so he calls.

creepy. haha

anyway. was quite satisfied with my performance today. towards the end of training, my first ball was quite good. i'm starting to get back my touch. woots woots. but nxt week i wont be in S'pore, so i cant train. i'm afraid i might lose it. i need to train to get it back!!!

went to clarke quay today after church. was supposed to accompany ulrich and canaan to their audition for some gig. both of them were supposed to play with asyraf, fadli and dale (ulrich's friends). however, upon reaching, we found out that all 3 of them did not turn up.

we needed an emergency plan.

we were already late by an hour (supposed to reach by 2. we reached the studio at 3) so we had to come up with something real fast. canaan then said," eh elliot, you play the guit can? vance you play the bass, thn ulrich play the drums." we thn agreed and quickly decided on what song to play as we did not practice at all because me and elliot were not supposed to play. we then decided on two songs, 'unholy confessions' and 'in my eyes'. we went into the studio and started setting up the instruments. the person incharge thn told us that we're short of time, so they only needed us to play one song. we decided to just play Rufio's 'in my eyes'.

we did a few soundchecks thn proceeded to play the song. i felt we did quite well, except for a few minor mistakes which weren't really obvious. as a matter of fact, i felt that we did awesome considering the fact that we did not practice for this song and it was a last minute thing. haha.

so well, we await the results.

went for lunch after that with the rest of the guys (sam, xingwei, marcus, zach, keith, elliot, canaan, ulrich).

after lunch, we were walkign along the singapore river, towards the fullerton hotel. we did some really crazy stuff and laughed like mad.. haha great day. meeting them again later for some world cup fun. woohoo..

many people have the misconception that the appearance of the devil will be the day where the world dies (end of the world). but nononono. ok let me explain.

let 06.06.06 be the day where the anti-christ reveals himself. (just a random date)

this is what most people think:
06.06.06, anti-christ reveals himself... AHHHHHH end of the world. everybody dies.

this is what should really happen:
06.06.06. anti-christ reveals himself to the world. from that point on, there will be SEVEN years of tribulation, where all Christians will be persecuted. by the end of the seven years, there'll be the second coming of Jesus Christ and it'll be Judgement Day. that will then be the end of the world. haha

note that the date is just picked randomly and its just a coincidence that it has 3 6's in it.

one more match against shs alumni. impossible to win. so my BPGHS vball career is at last coming to an end. LOL after 5 years of waiting, its here. wasn't that bad i guess.

went to town today with ulrich, canaan, marcus, sam and geri. geri left us once she got down the bus, so the rest of us just slacked around. laughing at every small shits availiable. lol haven't had such a gd laugh for ages. good that the holidays are here

went out with baby today. really great day. haha

met up with up at about 2 and went to lido. bought the tics for the 430 show for 'da vinci code'. so we just sat down and waited till 415 before entering the theatre, cinema? whichever.

movie was rather disappointing though. was not up to expectations. all the hype and all, you'd expect it to be a mind blowing movie. but it was as 'mind-blowing' as 'A cinderella's story'. haha. ok maybe better. but still.

but a watchable movie though :)

main thing is that i had a great day with baby and it was time well spent. haha

tiring day today.

letf my place at 11 to meet teck, yong chee and ah liao and jurong mrt. we thn headed to st hilda's sec... fooooo, long journey. haha

and so we trained, and i felt that i've done my best.
so getting into the singapore schools senior team or not, i'll take it in my stride. although i really hope i'll make it, it has always been my dream. haha.

they're taking 20 players, so there'll be a higher chance. *fingers crossed.

Liverpool FC, FA cup champs for the 7th time.

I just feel that life is so unpredictable. haha
for example, in a soccer match, guy A passes to guy B, passes to guy C who then proceeds to score. what if. what if guy A chooses to pass to guy D instead of guy B? would guy C still be able to score?

ok maybe its a bad example, haha but i still think its pretty cool.
